Join us for an evening in Friedrichshain with LangChain, DB Engineering & Consulting, and Zalando. Most teams can build agents. Far fewer have a system to improve them. In this meetup, Steffen Hausmann (Deployed Engineer @ LangChain) will walk through LangSmith Engine — an agent that sits on top of your traces, identifies recurring failure patterns, and suggests concrete next steps. He'll cover the architecture decisions behind it and how teams use it to operationalize the agent improvement loop. Yanire Romero (Principal Engineer @ Zalando) and Saugandh Karan (Sr Software Engineer @ Zalando) share how they leveraged agentic SWE methods to modernize Zalando's Cart systems. Saugandh and Yani will walk through proven Agentic Engineering concepts that drastically improved their delivery — drawn from a real project that reduced human effort by nearly 10x. Last, Gregor Beuster (Member of Technical Staff @ DB Engineering & Consulting) will walk through how Fleet and a coding agent work together to handle the full agent development loop — from building and testing to iterating with LangSmith traces and deploying via the Agent Server API. Agenda ⏰ 6:00 PM: Welcome + Food/Drinks 6:30 PM: Presentation with Steffen Hausmann (LangChain): How We Built it: LangSmith Engine 6:45 PM: Q&A Session with Steffen 6:55 PM: Presentation with Yanire Romero and Saugandh Karan (Zalando): SDLC Using Agentic Engineering 7:15 PM: Q&A Session with Zalando 7:20 PM: Presentation w ith Gregor Beuster (DB Engineering & Consulting): The self-building agent 7:40 PM: Q&A Session with Gregor 7:45 PM: Networking 9:00 PM: Event Ends Event info: 🎤 Please note this event is fully in-person and will not be live-streamed or recorded. 📍 Location: Friedrichshain – address provided upon approval. 🎟️ We can only admit guests with approved registrations . About the hosts: LangChain is the platform for the full agent development lifecycle — building, testing, deploying, and monitoring — so AI teams can systematically improve their agents. LangSmith Engine accelerates this cycle further, automatically surfacing and fixing issues to improve agents over time. And because the platform is neutral by design, teams can customize their own stack to optimize on cost and performance as the landscape evolves. More than 7,000 customers, including Nvidia, Workday, Bridgewater, Clay, and Rippling trust LangSmith to build and operate their agents. Zalando is one of Europe’s leading technology companies in fashion and lifestyle, serving more than 50 million customers across Europe with the support of 2,000+ software engineers. As host of this meetup, Zalando is happy to welcome the Berlin LangChain community and share practical lessons from applying agentic engineering in a large-scale production environment.

Coding agents have crossed a line. The question is no longer how quickly they autocomplete—it’s what your team can ship when an agent can plan, explore a real codebase, test, and open the PR. Join us for a hands-on evening on building the agentic software factory with Cognition and Devin. We’ll put four capabilities through real engineering work: Pareto-frontier engineering with SWE 1.7: Devin's near-frontier model posttrained on top of Kimi 2.7, reaching near-top benchmarks. Lightning mode with 1000 tps Explore Devin Ultra Mode using frontier-grade reasoning for the messy issues that need more than a one-shot prompt. Smarter agent routing with Devin Fusion: pairing deep reasoning with scoped parallel work so teams can preserve quality without treating every task as a frontier-model problem. Closing the Agent Loop with Devin Review: agent-generated code is now in abundance, while human attention remains scarce. Devin Review helps humans understand, prioritize & improve increasingly large AI-generated changes, while keeping human judgement in the loop. Food will be provided To stay tuned for future events, follow the AI Tinkerers SG Luma Page AI Tinkerers Singapore is a community for people who want to build, test, and learn with AI in the open—founders, engineers, researchers, product builders, and the simply curious. The point is hands-on exploration, honest technical conversation, and meeting others who are making things real. Cognition is an AI company building Devin, an autonomous software-engineering agent. Devin is designed to work through real software tasks—not just suggest code—by exploring codebases, planning changes, debugging, testing, and producing work that engineers can review and ship.
